BALI REOPENS

Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism says Bali could reopen to international tourists as early as this July. This is exciting news for The Retirement Village at Tegallinggah. Eager potential buyers will at last be able to visit the development to select their favorite apartment. Air transit points (Tokyo, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore) are being worked out and direct flights to Bali will soon be available.

Getting a look at the Retirement Village is one thing, but checking out the grocery stores, local restaurants, beach and medical facilities is another. We are offering a 3 (three) nights complimentary stay at a local B&B on a first come first serve basis. Just drop an email to info@thebalivillages.com to request your three nights. This complimentary stay is being offered during the months of August through October 2021.

Once the first 4 (four) apartments are sold, operations will commence. Don’t miss your opportunity to start your retired life in Bali, winner of the YouTube “Top 15 Places in Entire World to Retire Early Cheap in 2021.”

We have updated our website to reflect changes made to sale policies. One change we will not make is to the current price point of $83,200 per unit. Updates to such things as the referral program, the no longer available 6-months option, or free trip; can all be seen by visiting www.thebalivillages.com.

We look forward to welcoming you to Bali to begin the retirement of a lifetime. Paradise is more affordable than you think!

Is this really too good to be true?

Is this really too good to be true?

There seem to be endless claims that tout nearly free retirement living in this or that location.  Many are unbelievably inexpensive, but what are the "hidden costs"?  Making true apples to apples comparisons requires digging down a bit below the surface.  Some of the hidden costs involve taxes, visa costs, travel costs and housing costs.

Rice Farming in Bali

Rice Farming in Bali

Rice is the life-blood of Bali.  It permeates every aspect of Balinese culture, and has for at least two thousand years.  The current system of Subak Irrigation has been in use for at least 1000 years.  This system is much more than a simple agriculture tradition, it is a tradition that is simultaneously spiritual and communal; deeply ingrained with Balinese culture.  The very social structure within Bali is infused by this ancient tradition.  You could even say that rice is Bali.
