View From Balcony

View From Balcony

You get a nice clear view of the ocean, palm trees, and rice paddies from every apartment.

The Neighbor

The Neighbor

Say hello to the local neighbors next door.

Rice Paddy

Rice Paddy

They are pretty muddy now, but later they will be lush with fresh, locally grown rice.

Bananas!

Bananas!

They are just starting to grow here, but in a few weeks these will be delicious!  Just imagine waking up, going outside, and picking breakfast.  This tree is near the office (which you can just see in the background).

More Rice Paddies

More Rice Paddies

Another shot with the rice paddies in them.  They are terraced in the traditional Balinese tradition of Subak.

Palm Trees

Palm Trees

The property is lush with verdant plant life.  Luxury, and peace are balanced together to make the perfect place for you to retire!

More Rice Terraces

More Rice Terraces

The terraces are designed to minimize water loss, making the rice growing operations in Bali exceptionally environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Muddy Rice Terraces

Muddy Rice Terraces

When the rice hasn't started growing yet, you can really see how well these fields retain water.  While rice can still get flooded like other crops if they are submerged completely in water, they are nearly aquatic in how much they enjoy water.  Since these fields retain water so well, much of the necessary water is supplied by rain.

Flower at Bali Retirement Villages

This flower welcomes you to the Bali Retirement Villages when you pull into the driveway.

Butterfly Opening its Wings

Butterfly Opening its Wings

This one was taken on top of the rice terraces behind the apartments.

Close Up of Palm Leaf

These may be a common sight here, but they sure are beautiful.

Rice Growing in Paddy

Rice Growing in Paddy

This is what it looks like when the rice is growing.  So green.

Scarecrows

Scarecrows

You have to look closely to tell that these aren't people.  There are no crows in Bali to scare off, though; these are for scaring away other types of birds.

View of Mountains

View of Mountains

This is one of the spectacular views available from the surrounding property.

Orange Flowers

Orange Flowers

These grow all over the place here.

Verdant Plant Life

Verdant Plant Life

There is so much green all around.

Tree Close Up

Tree Close Up

The trunks of some of the trees here are similar to vine maples back in the USA.
